The 2nd Annual Paw It Forward Campaign presented by Dog Tag Art has officially begun!

This PAWESOME online fundraising campaign runs now through June 30, and our goal is to raise $45,000 to help the medically at-risk animals at Asheville Humane Society.

As an open admission shelter, we take in every local animal, even those who have life-threatening illnesses or injuries and need extensive medical care to survive. Thanks to our generous donors and partners in the community, we are able to provide many of these at-risk animals with the attention and care they need to be safe, healthy, and thriving.

For assistance, follow these quick and easy steps to walk you through the process!

  1. Follow this link, then click the “Start Fundraising” button to sign up. If you sign up using your email (preferred option), you must create a password. Remember to make note of your password or have your computer save it automatically.

  2. Personalize your page: Upload a picture of you, your team, and/or your pet(s), and write a personal story about why you are fundraising. You can always edit this information later.

  3. Connect: If you have a Facebook and/or Twitter account, click the icon at the top right hand corner of your screen, select “account,” then “manage connections.”

  4. Share: On your campaign page, click the blue “Share” button next to your profile picture and select the medium you would like to use. If you want to use the page link to create a post on your own, click to copy and paste it directly into the body of a social media post, email or text message. Post updates and photos on your campaign page and share to social media.

  5. Bookmark your page: Click the icon on the right side of the Address Bar. This will give you easy access to your page without having to search for the link each time you want to log on.
