What is something you love about your pet? What else should someone know about your pet?:
Polly is very sweet and friendly once she warms up to you. I believe she may have been abused by her previous owners and has trust issues due to that. We’ve been working with her to show her that not all humans are bad. While not a lap cat, she does like sitting right next to you. She also likes having her own safe space. Right now that space is a cardboard cat house with a scratch pad inside (purchased at Aldi), she absolutely loves cardboard scratch pads!!! She appeared to be an exclusively outdoor cat before she showed up in our driveway, but now much prefers the indoor life, especially in the colder weather.
Has your pet lived with:
Children
Dogs
Cats
How many hours is your pet home alone each day?:
Rarely alone, but keeps to herself
What does your pet dislike or fear?:
She seems like she would do best in a house where she is the only pet. She and my other cat fight (small squabbles) and she likes to pick on my dog when she gets the chance. She also likes quiet, as she only comes out when the kids have gone to bed. She does fine with kids, just not a fan of the racket.
Where is your pet kept during the day?:
Free range indoors
Where does your pet sleep at night?:
On my son’s bed
How does your pet ride in the car?:
In a carrier.
Please list any past or present injuries, treatment or other medical histories.:
When we took her in, she was treated for fleas, ticks, worms and dehydration, she was also emaciated. We nursed her back to health and she’s in great shape now
