** MEET TEDDY**** ~12 yr NM Golden Retriever Mix ( Low Rider) Teddy NEEDS A HOME or FOSTER parent...... History : We were called by a client recently to save Teddy from being euthanized due to Separation Distress. Teddy has now been living with Us for the last week. Teddy is probably one of the sweetest old man dog's I have met in a long time. He is literally super friendly with all humans, dogs, cats and children. He is mellow, sweet, and WANTS to be loved forever. Unfortunately the trauma he has entailed over the last severe years have left him with the feeling of abandonment , that has transitioned into separation distress. We have had a full veterinary work up on Teddy boy. Teddy's x-rays, ultrasound look great. For a old man, he has very little signs of arthritis but was diagnosed with Early Kidney Disease. We are currently starting him on a kidney safe diet for life. He is on trial of behavioral medications, acupuncture and Chinese herbs to help him from panicking when left alone. Ideally the best home or foster would be someone who can help give him that security and safety until we continue to teach him he is safe. PLEASE SHARE, Teddy needs a foster home or forever home!!!!
