What is something you love about your pet? What else should someone know about your pet?:
She is very fun and loves other dogs! like many senior dogs, Toboggan does have some things that her new pet parent will need to keep their eye on, however, she will make up for that with all the times she will make you laugh with her silly antics. Here's her bio: Gender: Female Age: 5 years Weight: 46 lbs Meet Toboggan! Toboggan is a goofy gal who truly enjoys all that life has to offer! She is currently enjoying life in a foster home while she learns about the magic of being around new people while getting to romp with her canine friends. Toboggan isn’t very athletic, so if you’re looking for a friend to take on shorter walks before some TV and chill time together, then look no further. She enjoys time with her people as well as solo time in her crate, which can be helpful if you need to head out to run an errand. She’s still learning about what is and isn’t a dog toy; she may nibble on things like power cords, so, crating her in your absence can help ensure that both she and your things stay safe. Big fan of: back scratches! You may find her doing the doggy backstroke on your carpet or grass. She loves to roll around and enjoys seeing the world as a giant back scratcher. Toboggan is learning cues like “let’s go,” and “come here.” For some down time, you can give this gal a Nylabone or bully stick and she will self-entertain for a while! She finds the most joy from being with other dogs and would love to have a patient and playful dog friend in her adoptive home. Working on: her stamina. Toboggan can peter out quickly on a walk, so it’s best to keep the walks shorter at first while she builds some endurance. Toboggan is learning about appliance sounds and other strange but wonderful things in her foster home and she’s eager to translate all that she learned into her adoptive home. An adopter who is dedicated to making Toboggan feel safe, happy and loved, especially during the first few weeks, is key! She is looking for an adopter who is ready and willing to take on reward-based training to boost her confidence and to help her enjoy all that life has to offer. Dream home: If Toboggan sounds like your dream come true, please email Emilia at to submit an application! Link to video:
