Opportunities for Classes, Groups and Organizations
Asheville Humane Society strives to provide every animal in our community with a life worth living, and your group can help! The group project that is most beneficial for the animals is to gather donations of pet food or supplies, or items for us to sell at our thrift store. These donation collections allow us to provide pet food to animals in need in our community, enrich the lives of the animals in our care, and devote additional funding to our vital programming. Click HERE for information on donations that benefit the animals in our care, or HERE for information on donations that help us raise funds in our thrift store.
Please feel free to drop off donations for the animals at our Animal Care Campus (14 Forever Friend Lane in Asheville) Monday through Saturday between 9am and 5pm. Items may be left on the front porch of the Adoption Center. If you would like a donation receipt, please email volunteer[at]ashevillehumane[dot]org. Thrift Store donations can be dropped off at our Thrift Store (1425 Patton Avenue in Asheville) Tuesday through Saturday from 10am until 5pm under the carport.
** Due to COVID-19 restrictions, we are currently not able to offer group service projects on our Animal Care Campus. ** If your group (of fewer than 10 people) is interested in helping in our thrift store with projects such as clothing sorting, please email volunteer[at]ashevillehumane[dot]org to schedule a service day.
Asheville Humane Society relies on support from our community and we appreciate your interest in helping us give every animal a life worth living!
